Attorney Profiles

Mark Snider is a Partner in the Firm's Corporate and Business Law Department.  Mr. Snider has over twenty years of experience in a wide variety of transactions and legal matters affecting businesses.  He has worked on numerous mergers, acquisitions and sale transactions involving both public and private companies and on various secured and unsecured financing transactions for lending institutions and public and private borrowers.  Mr. Snider also has advised clients on forming and capitalizing corporations and other business entities, shareholder agreements, operating agreements, joint venture agreements and other arrangements between equity owners, business contracts and agreements and various other business and credit matters.

Mr. Snider obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia in 1983 and obtained his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois, College of Law in 1986.  Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Snider was the general counsel for a subsidiary of a publicly traded company, where he was responsible for all aspects of the legal function for the company and its operating subsidiaries until the company's business operations were sold.  Prior to that time, Mr. Snider was a partner at a large law firm based in Chicago, Illinois, where he worked on various complex corporate and financing transactions.
